Alright all, this is my last blog before the big day. I am heading off to Panama City tomorrow morning fopr what will most likely be a defining moment in my "triathlon career" lets hope all goes well.
This isnt going to be much of a post, - everything is almost ready to go. I have my food packed, i know whats coming with me, and my bike is on its way down to Panama City thanks to Tri Bike Transport. mentally, i havnt really prepared as I have also been in the throws of midterms this week- so all my mental energy has been channeled torward regression analysis and epidemiology. but now that i have those out of the way i have adequate time to freak out.
I need to remember that my real goal shoudl be finishing, and not let my competatieve nature get the better of me. I just wanted to thank everyone who has been SO ssupportive over the past year since i registered for this race, and an extra thank you for all of those who donated to my American Heart Association Fundraiser. I have surprised my initial goal by close to 700 dollars. so thanks!
When i com eback I will make 1 final post to this blog which will include a VERY detailed play by play of my day. itll be an interesting recounting (hopefully) of the days events and how i felt at each stage of the game. hopefully my mom will serve as an adept photog and take good pictures :) Anyway.. off i go Wish me Luck!!
