Thanks to the AHA!!

Tonight was the thank you reception for volunteers for the American Heart Association, and they were gracious enough to invite me! it was great to see all of these people putting in their time and effort for a good cause. it was a great time! thanksssss

this post isnt so much about training. yeah, thats going well. I think I will update more on that after this weekend... but lets just say my once large stack of index cards, each documenting one week worth of training has dwindled down so a sad little pile, telling me we are dangerously close to dday.

So i have given more thought to my fundraising. yes 26 days before ironman collection will start. I am asking for a minimum donation of 10 cents per mile of the ironman, totalling out at $14 dollars. Fundable.com will take pledges and wont actually take any money from anyone unless i reach my goal of 1500 dollars. My parents are on board and are going to try to get everyone in my neighborhood back in Virginia to contribute as well. I think this should be a great effort all around.

Ok, now that i have a more clear idea of how fundraising is going to happen, im going to go to sleep. waking up at 530 in the morning as become part habit, part insufferable, depending on the day you ask me. Luckily, tomorrow is thursday, which means happy hour. Oh you better believe Margaritas are a part of a balanced diet--. Drink of champions, my friends. im kidding. kind of.
